When I interview a drummer for PCS I in no way intend to repeat a bio and tell you all about shit you already know or can find on the Internet. I have a secret fucking box. I share what you need to know, a little background, highlight their accomplishments, but only to tell you how fucking awesome they are in context of why PCS should be in your hands.
Why. PCS. Should. Be. In. Your. Hands.
For a real reason.
I’m not doing this to waste your time or to expand my readership as a writer (maybe a little). I do this because these drummers are fucking great and they have something powerful to share with us in regards to PCS.
I envision myself a feral Viking warrior holding his Viking metal axe thing high in the air—for two distinct reasons, so you’ll be a better drummer!
Bryan Scott of Erasing Never is a bad ass, he plays like a beast, and has the resume we like to see in a drummer who can wield the unwieldy, the all mighty PCS.
He’s opened for Mushroomhead, Gemini Syndrome, Avatar, Ill Nino, Non-Point, Motograter, Straight Line Stitch, Thira, Davey Suicide, Ventana, SpineShank, 216, Attila, Asking Alexandria, Kill Devil Hill, Dax Riggs, Soilwork, All Hail the Yeti, Saliva, Drowning Pool, Flaw, Psychostick, and Lydia Can’t Breathe.
Mother fucking shit! Bryan’s resume is amazing. He’s young and talented and everything you expect from a professional! Aside from opening for all these awesome bands, he works full time touring and recording with Erasing Never. He’s what they call the ever elusive actual working, professional drummer. And, what makes it even better, he’s completely loyal to PCS.
We chose Bryan as our second interview because we wanted to highlight from the beginning the strength factor, drummers like Bryan and their heart in this and support that distinguishes PCS from the competition.
Before I get to the interview I wanted to make this point: when I set out the other night to interview three drummers for these next three spots I had a certain agenda planned. I had no idea where the conversations would go exactly, but I wanted substance and I wanted something powerful.
Among all the points we covered all three interviews came back to a point without me really guiding it, that from a slimy marketing model perspective blew me the fuck away. I want to thank Bryan personally for taking the time to talk to me and help us connect to this this highly important concept, and overall for promoting PCS.
I’ll let the interview speak for itself, but the power of the o-ring or the absolutely important role it plays is something I’ve been overlooking and if it weren’t for Bryan, Ryan, and Joey I would have missed an incredibly important moment. It follows, pay attention, but you can drink.
PCS Drumstick Blogger: I ask this of anyone who uses PCS, mainly, because everyone who uses them swears by them: how did you find out about PCS and why did you make the switch?
Bryan Scott Legendary PCS Drummer: Joey Gonzalez of Superjoint Ritual turned me on to them. He had been telling me about them for a while and when I finally put them in my hands I could tell right away they were well made and intelligently balanced. I could tell a drummer made them.
PCS Drumstick Blogger: What did you think when you first played PCS. And, what I’m getting at is that first moment where you were like, fuck yeah, PCS and I, this is like forever! Give us all the inside intimate juicy nipple and private shots of what that experience was like.
Bryan Scott Legendary PCS Drummer: I’m a heavy hitter and I was really concerned how well they could handle my routine. It’s actually kind of amazing. They just fit. I just knew right away. It’s something a trained drummer knows. And something else I should mention, I used to break at least a stick every show, and I’m serious when I say this, I have yet to break a single PCS.
Bryan Scott Legendary PCS Drummer: Holy fucking shit!
Disclaimer: Legal has asked me at this time to repeat what both Bryan Scott Legendary PCS Drummer and myself both just said as a response to what is probably now PCS canon:

I had mentioned strength as one of two points I would cover in this interview. In previous articles I heavily touched on strength, but I still am amazed at the stories like this. Pure marketing fodder.
Back to the interview…
Bryan Scott Legendary PCS Drummer: I also admired the craftsmanship. Again, the way the ends tapered, the balance in the back of the stick. I gave David specs for my favorite stick. He easily obliged, but added his expertise to them and made them better. It’s really hard to explain and about the only thing you can do is just tell people to try them.
PCS Drumstick Blogger: I completely relate to that point and support it. There is a keen intelligence and sophistication to these sticks that the pros understand.
Bryan, we talk about this professionalism as it relates to PCS, can you give us a little background to your training and how what you know as a seasoned drummer can better help the nonbeliever understand the PCS way?
Bryan Scott Legendary PCS Drummer: I’ve studied percussion since the fourth grade, starting playing a full drum set when I was twelve, it feels like I’ve always been in a band. Because I’ve always played and strived to be the best, I’ve developed an ear and technique that has come to define my success. What PCS offers only extends what I can do.
PCS Drumstick Blogger: This is where I blow your mind. I mentioned pure marketing fodder, well feast your needle teeth maw into this: in your opinion, what is significant about the o-ring?
Hold on to your metal panties!
Bryan Scott Legendary PCS Drummer: I used to have to wear gloves when I played...I don't have to with Peridore sticks!
PCS Drumstick Blogger: Holy fucking shit!
As someone who is helping a buddy market his product, it’s testimonial like this that make someone successful.
This interview is not bullshit. And the two very powerful strong, mighty strong points made here, Bryan only has used one set to date and no longer has to wear gloves is absolutely amazing.
Thanks again, Bryan for taking the time to help promote PCS and keep up updated on when you break those sticks, if you do!
Thanks too for taking the time to read this. I hope you try PCS and they help you too.
I have two more very convincing interviews in the weeks to come that nearly mirror this story. I seriously can’t to share them. In the meantime…
